Pinewood Derby

This morning was so much fun! We have a great group of cub scouts and they made some wonderfully creative cars - then they had a great time racing them. Here are a few pictures from my photographer, Bro. Truitt. If you have any additional pictures, please email them to me. I'd love to post them here for everyone to see.

Pinewood Derby

Please let us know ASAP, via comment here or email to Sis. Truitt, if your scout is planning on participating in the Pinewood Derby on January 12th and if he does not yet have his car kit. We'd like to get kits distributed to all of the boys this week. Christmas break is a great time to get your car put together - Pinewood Derby is coming up fast! If he received a car kit but will not be able to come, please let us know if he would like to have someone race his car for him. If not, then we will ask you to return the kit to us for use at another time.

Winter Day Camp

Winter Day Camp registration has closed, so if your scout is still interested in going but did not register before now, please let me know and I will get his name added to the waiting list. Right now it's a short list, so there is a chance....

Winter Day Camp

If you have not RSVP'd yet about Winter Day Camp, please do so as soon as possible. The camp fee will be paid for by the ward. I need to hear from you within a week, by December 9th, so that there is time to get some forms filled out and mailed in (this will greatly speed up our check-in process) and also so there is time to work out chaperones and driving arrangements. The camp will be December 27-29, from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Please contact Sis. Truitt with any questions.
